CHINAMAN'S HOLLOW

Public BBQ

Chinaman's Hollow is split across both sides of the main road, with toilets conveniently located on each side. One side features a children's playground with covered seating and a small canal running through it, while the other has a large circular exercise path with various workout stations dotted around. The paths are well maintained and fully accessible, making it easy for everyone to get around. The park offers electric BBQs and plenty of space for picnics, with two water ponds (currently empty). Wildlife is abundant and friendly, with ducks and moorehens regularly spotted around the grounds. Dogs are permitted throughout the park, though be warned that bindi eyes cover much of the grass, which can make it uncomfortable for barefoot kids or pets. The playground is fairly basic with just two swings, which can feel inadequate when it gets busy. Despite this, it's a quiet, nicely presented spot for families to enjoy a barbecue and let the kids burn off energy outdoors.
